2007 Yarra Valley Sauvignon Blanc
|
|
This wine is pale green and straw like in
colour. It shows restraint and elegance,
with a crisp and fresh range of fruit
flavours from light citrus, to gooseberry
and some tropical fruit characters. A lifted
nose showing a bouquet of delicate floral
and grapefruit aromas, matched with a
perfectly balanced acidity. This medium
bodied wine offers a flavoursome mid palate
with great length of fruit expression and
persistence on the finish. It is superb
drinking while young, fresh and zesty, and
offers a perfect accompaniment to all
seafood, antipasti and lighter style dishes.

Made from 100% Shiraz grapes sourced from
the Bendigo wine region of Central Victoria.
This full-bodied Shiraz shows hints of
spice, liquorice and white pepper on the
front palate, with forest fruit characters
of ripe blackberries and morello cherries.
Matured for 18 months in a combination of
French and American oak barriques,
contributes smooth integrated fi ne oak
tannins with cedar and vanilla on the nose.
The finish is firm and long with a perfectly
balanced acidity, and rounded mouth-feel.
This wine will benefit from further
cellaring for up to 8 years.

2006 Petit Verdot |

|
Made from 100% Petit Verdot grapes grown by
Bill and Jacqui Stevens of Stevens Brook
Estate located on the banks of the Murray
River in twin border towns of Echuca and
Moama, in Northern Victoria/Southern NSW.
This grape variety suits this region
perfectly. The long ripening seasons
produces exceptional fragrance and colour
which is evident with this 2006 Petit Verdot.
Such an appetizing nose of currants and dark
forest fruits, with a slight hint of
liquorice overtones. The mouth feel is rich,
full bodied and smooth, with intense fruit
flavours and seamless integrated French oak
vanillin’s, centered by firm, ripe tannins
and its earthy texture. Excellent length and
persistence on the finish that will reward
with further cellaring of up to 5 years.

2004 Pyrenees Shiraz
|

|
Made from 100% Shiraz grapes from the
Pyrenees wine region of Western Victoria.
The wine was matured in one year old French
oak Barriques for 24 months to compliment
the fruit character and build richness and
character. The wine is full-bodied with
considerable depth and refined fruit
characters and will reward with careful
cellaring for up to 8 years, to allow the
development of complex liquorice, chocolate
and earthy flavours.
